Abstract (en)
The connector includes additional rings ensuring accuracy of alignment for both fibres and cables. The connection terminal comprises a body (1) with a cylindrical bore (14) which is intended to receive a cylindrical insert (16). The insert (16) has a base (19) and a first roll (25) which is intended to allow its positioning on an insert support (20). A second roll (18) ensures the angular positioning of the insert in the body (1) with a conjugate female element (17). The insert support (20) is a piece formed from a hollow cylindrical component (21) followed by a cylindrical wall (23) extending along more than half of the peripheral length. This wall (23) is divided into two parts by an axial guide groove (24) co-operating with the first roll (25).

La fiche de connexion comprend un corps (1) muni d'un alésage cylindrique (14) agencé pour loger un insert (16) de forme cylindrique. L'insert (16) est muni d'une embase (19) et d'un premier bourrelet (25) destinés à permettre son positionnement sur un support d'insert (20). Un deuxième bourrelet (18) assure le positionnement angulaire de l'insert dans le corps (1) avec un élément femelle conjugué (17). Le support d'insert (20) est une pièce formée d'une partie cylindrique creuse (21) suivi d'une paroi cylindrique (23) s'étendant sur une longueur périphérique supérieure à une demi-longueur périphérique. Cette paroi (23) est divisée en deux parties par une rainure axiale (24) de guidage collaborant avec le premier bourrelet (25). <IMAGE>
