[origin: DE19841876A1] The extinguisher foam generating appliance has a main body (18) possessing an injector nozzle (22). The main body is enclosed by a foam pipe (12). One of the end sides of the foam pipe has a foam outlet on the end opposite to the inlet of larger diameter than the outlet. The part (13) of the foam pipe surrounding the main nozzle body tapers from the inlet towards the outlet. A cylindrical section (14) of constant diameter is next to the first part (13). A second tapering section (15) of the foam pipe adjoins the first and a second (16) cylindrical section.
