Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0015532A1] The invention relates to a texturing machine for texturing and taking up a thread. In said texturing machine the thread is withdrawn from a texturing device by a delivery mechanism (2) and delivered to a takeup device. A thread storage element (7) is positioned between the delivery mechanism (2) and the takeup device and during bobbin changes receives the thread (4) which has slackened during the change. To be able to withdraw the thread safely from the delivery mechanism (2) a conveying nozzle (6) is positioned upstream of the thread storage element (7). Said nozzle (6) has at least one hole (23) aligned in the direction of travel of the thread (4) that the air stream directed at the thread (4) generates a tensile force acting on the thread in its direction of travel. The thread is then blown into a free space embodied by the thread storage element (7).
