Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0014357A2] A device for externally prestressing building constructions, comprising at least one prestressing element (1) and at least one anchoring device (2) for said prestressing element (1).The prestressing element (1) has at least one tensioning element (3). All tensioning elements (3) belonging to the prestressing element (1) are guided through a common jacket tube (4) in front of the anchoring device (2), whereby one end of the jacket tube (4) is arranged inside a conduit (5) leading into the anchoring device (2). The conduit (5) and the jacket tube (4) are filled with a self-setting mass after said tensioning elements (3) have been prestressed in at least one area of adhesion (10) located in front of the anchoring device (2), whereby the tensioning elements are embedded in the self-setting mass and adhere to the conduit (5) and the jacket tube (4). In order to avoid damage to said tensioning elements during prestressing, the jacket tube (4) can slide in relation to the conduit (5) at least while said tensioning elements are prestressed and means are provided in order to prevent a relative movement between the jacket tube (4) and the conduit (5) once the tensioning elements (3) have been prestressed.
