[origin: EP1112817A2] The machining process involves e.g. coating of furniture parts. There is a resting system on which the workpiece (3) is carried, including numerous resting bolts (8). Negative pressure is used to fix the bolts to the underside of the workpiece, so that either the workpiece with the bolts rises, or bolts not firmly attached in this way move down. In either case, the bolts held by suction remain in the upper position.
