[origin: EP1112860A2] The method involves continuously manufacturing a sleeve-like base (33) in a station (100). The base (33) is moved in the axial direction through a station for creating a printing layer (45). A printing layer is continuously applied to the sleeve-like base, while it passes through, to create sleeve-like rubber blanket of undefined length.
