Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1112942A2] The tear-open flap(15) of the envelope is formed by an incision(18) in the sealing flap(12) extending at right angles to the extent of the adhesive strip(16) and which curves into the progression of the weakened line(17) along which the envelope is opened. The weakened line extends over the sealing flap and lower flap(13) or side flap(14). The tear-open flap is located on the half of the envelope upon which the weakened line extends. The weakened line may be perforations or formed from a succession of pairs of incisions.
