The air cushion support device (2) for adjusting the position of a web (22) in the drier of a web-fed rotary printing machine has an air flow adjuster (6), e.g. a plate with air slots (8, 10). This can be moved to adjust the air flow through passages (16, 18) on either side of the device.

Eine Luftstange (2) zum Lenken einer Materialbahn (22) umfasst einen mit Druckluft beaufschlagbaren hohlen Innenraum (4), mit dem mindestens ein Luftkanal (16,18) verbunden ist. Dem hohlen Innenraum (4) der Luftstange (2) ist zur Steuerung des Luftdrucks im unter der Materialbahn (22) gebildeten Luftkissen (20) eine Dosiervorrichtung (6) zugeordnet, mittels derer die Materialbahn (22) in seitlicher Richtung bewegbar ist. <IMAGE>
