[origin: EP1113111A1] The pliers have hinged jaws (1,2) moved using hydraulic cylinders. The first jaw has a frame body (6) with first breaking and cutting areas. The second jaw has a body (7) with second breaking and cutting areas. When the pliers are closed, the second jaw fits in the first jaw and the breaking and cutting areas co-operate. The cutting areas have cutting elements (17,20), which are releasably fixed in holder pockets in the jaws.
