[origin: WO0103548A1] The invention relates to a chair (1), especially an office swivel chair. The inventive chair has a seat support (2) mounted on a center column (20) or a plurality of chair-legs, a seat plate (3) supported by said seat support (2), a backrest (4) that can be adjusted in height relative to the seat plate (3) and two lateral armrests (5) that can be adjusted in height relative to the seat plate (3). The novel chair is characterized in that it is provided with two lateral guide profiles (6) that extend from the seat support (2) or from the seat plate (3) in an upward direction. Every guide profile (6) comprises a backrest guide (64) and an armrest guide (65).
