[origin: WO0073558A1] The invention relates to a texturing machine for texturing a plurality of thermoplastic threads. According to the invention, the thread is drawn in by first delivery device from a supply bobbin in a processing station and conveyed into false-twist area comprising a heater and a cooling device, in addition to a texturing unit. The thread is then drawn by a second delivery device from the twisting area and guided to a take-up device. Cooling is effected by means of a cooling pipe that is used as cooling device, the thread being guided in the shape of a spiral on the other surface of said cooling device. According to the invention, the cooling pipe is cooled from within with a coolant flux flowing in the direction opposite to that of the threads with the purpose of intensively cooling the thread.
