Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0019023A1] The invention relates to a covering for a sloping surface or a support for a sloping surface, especially for plant growth which, in the area of the sloping surface, comprises at least one receptacle and/or support for covering or supporting means, in particular for solid body vegetation material which is capable of rooting. The aim of the invention is to create a covering or support for a sloping surface or an accompanying structural element which are characterized by having a simple construction, relatively small cross-section dimensions and a low degree of complexity. The covering or support for a sloping surface is characterized in that the receptacle or support comprises at least one planar grating (GT) which is elastic in shape at least in sections and which extends at least partially along the sloping surface (HO). Said receptacle or support also comprises at least one net (NT) which is provided with narrower openings than the grating and/or is provided with meshing, and which is secured on said grating by form-fit and/or material-fit in a planar overlapping manner.
