Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1116528A2] The method involves stamping out an opening in a flat metal sheet. A tube piece (4) is joined, preferably welded, to the stamped openings. The metal sheet is formed to form a hollow profile with adjacent edges. The adjacent edges are connected and sealed to form a T-shaped pipe part. Preferably, the metal sheet is formed in several work stages, to form a hollow profile. An Independent claim is included for a metal T-shaped pipe part made using the method.
