[origin: EP1116660A1] The device for producing cigarette pack bundles has an outer cover wrapped around the contents of the pack in the pocket(17) of a folding unit. At least during the folding of end flaps(27,28) forming the edges(44,45) of the pack folding aids are located in the region of the edges to be produced and are in the form of edge supports(40,41) around which the flaps are folded. Edge supports are allocated to each pocket and after the folding process are moved away out of the support position.
