[origin: EP1116669A2] Goods dispatched in e.g. a carton are protected from impact and shaking by a fill-up packing material consisting of a ribbon of inflatable blister-packs. Each blister is linked to the adjacent blister by a series of narrow U-shaped passages. A blister (3) can be detached from an adjacent blister by separation along a pre-perforated line (4). Following detachment and inflation of a length of blister ribbon, the ribbon may be heat sealed or knotted.
