[origin: EP1116680A2] The bobbin winder has a reciprocating yarn guide (6) and a guide bush (12) as a radial guide unit for the yarn guide (6). The inner peripheral surface (13) of the guide bush (12) at least partially covers the outer peripheral surface (14) of the threaded reversing shaft (5). The peripheral surfaces (13,14) are ground so that, together, they give a sliding fit. The guide bush (12) has a closed ring shape, or it is partially open at its circumference. The threaded reversing shaft (5) has a number of continuous thread grooves (4), which each move the reciprocating yarn guide (6) to and fro. The system can have two guides (9) for the yarn, offset by 180 degrees . The reciprocating yarn guide (6) has a cover (19), to form an air gap (20) with the base body (7). A sealing strip (21) is through the air gap (20), to seal the slit opening (11) of the housing (3), and both ends (22,23) of the sealing strip (21) are anchored to the housing (3). The cover (19) has two retainers (26,27) aligned towards the sealing strip (21).
