[origin: EP1116854A2] The vertical blinds (100) comprise a carrying track (15) and a long track (11) which may be travelled using a cord (17) and an operating chain (16). In the closed position a small hanging blind (200) has vertical fins (10) made from e.g. material, fabric or film held on their outer edges. Upper and lower fin sections rotate about a vertical axis (121) and form an angle of at least 90 degrees with the upper section.
