[origin: GB2342028A] A holder for a plant container such as a plant pot, comprises a base 10 which may extend outwardly beyond the width of the plant pot base to provide greater stability, a support such as a wall 12 which rises up from the base 10 and defines an area within which the plant pot is to be held, and at least three resilient members 16 which extend from the support 12, and grip the container. Drain holes may be provided in the base of the holder to allow for the drainage of water. The resilient members 16 are preferably fingers which turn downwardly at their free ends. Each holder and the resilient members 16 may be dimensioned to suit different sizes of pot, and preferably so that the resilient members engage the plant pot at a point between one quarter and one half the distance up its side wall.
