Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19836695A1] An adhesive for the production of laminated glass contains (meth)acrylate monomers, (meth)acrylate-functional oligomers, coupling agent and photoinitiator, and optionally also unreactive (meth)acrylate homo- and co-polymers, fillers, tackifiers and stabilizers. An adhesive for the production of laminated glass has a viscosity of 5-300 Pa.s and a liquid limit of 5-800 Pa and contains (a) 5-90 wt.% (meth)acrylate monomers, (b) 5-60 wt.% (meth)acrylate-functional oligomers, (c) 0-15 wt.% unreactive (meth)acrylate homo- and co-polymers, (d) 0-30 wt.% fillers, (e) 0-15 wt.% plasticizers, (f) 0.3-3 wt.% coupling agent, (g) 0.1-3 wt.% photoinitiator, (h) 0-5 wt.% tackifiers and (i) 0-2 wt.% stabilizers. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of this adhesive by mixing the components at 15-70 deg C in a planetary dissolver, a blade mixer and/or a turbulent mixer.
