[origin: WO0109508A1] The invention relates to a high pressure reservoir for fuel for a common-rail fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine. Said reservoir comprises a tube-shaped base body (1) that is provided with several connections (5 to 8). The aim of the invention is to provide a high pressure reservoir for fuel, whereby said reservoir can be used for a high number of similar engines. To this end, a continuous connecting block or several connecting branches (5 to 8) are embodied at the tube-shaped base body (1). The dimensions (b) of said block or branches are greater than the space required for the connections (9) when seen in the longitudinal direction of the tube-shaped base body (1).
