Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1118297A2] The coat hanger has a crossbar (2) between the arms of the coat-hanging part (1). There are hooks (3) on the crossbar on which ties, belts etc. may be hung. The coat hanger also has a clamping device (4, 6) to clamp the coat hanger to the rod in the wardrobe from which it hangs, so that it will remain in the horizontal position.
