[origin: EP1118576A2] The cabin skirt (110) is attached to a lift cabin (120). At least part of the skirt, at least when the cabin enters the bottom stop point, can be reduced in height. The skirt can be hung down at least before the cabin enters the bottom stop point. It can fold or slide into its retracted position, possibly by means of a four-link chain.
