[origin: EP1118817A1] The gas cooker has a burner connected to a gas conduit with a metering control for the gas. The burner has an injector (8) for pilot flame supply and a burner (7) for cooking. The control has a first valve (4) with a push button (12) and a second valve (5) placed downstream of the first. The first valve is connected to the injector (8) for the pilot gas supply. The second valve is connected to the burner and has a control lever (6). The first valve can be controlled by a thermocouple in the pilot flame to control the valve.
