Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1118830A2] The connector comprises lower stays (10u) of the second heat exchanger (2) engaging in lower support members (6) on the collecting box (5) of the first heat exchanger (1). These lower support members secure the stays under torsional stress in the elastic region. Upper stays (10o) fixed on the collecting box (9) of the second heat exchanger and holders (7) fixed on the box of the first exchanger are each surrounded and secured by the two arms (14a, 14b) of a spring clip (14) so that the torsion stresses remain in the stays to prevent vertical tensions from acting on the coolant network of the heat exchanger.
