Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1118972A2] The method involves automatically making decisions regarding a traffic message concerning a hold-up in a defined region of a road network and associating additional information representing the hold-up's cause or a comment to enable a common transmission to a road user in the network. The decision is made based on a factor representing the degree of overlap of the regions of the network represented by the message and the additional information. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for implementing the method and a traffic situation detection center.
