Said casement has at least one metallic inner profile (15) and at least one metallic outer profile (17), these profiles being interconnected by at least one insulating strip (19). The invention is characterised in that the insulating strip (19) of the window casement (13) has a wider base area (29) on its inner profile (15) than on its outer profile (17).
