[origin: DE19846791A1] The system has several parallel levels, each of which has cigarette packets (18) on trays (14). When the vending machine is operated cigarette packs are dispensed from the front. A motor drive unit (36) pushes the packs forward until the front one clears a retaining leaf spring (30).
