The device has a first drive motor connected to a feed spindle in a casing tube and a spindle nut fixed in a movable piston tube attached to the upper carriage. A second motor on the carriage has a lower speed and higher torque than the first motor. The spindle nut is fixed in the end of the piston tube remote from the upper carriage. A stripping device preventing buckling is attached to the corresponding end at a distance from the spindle nut. The device has first drive motor (48) connected to a feed spindle (44) in a casing tube and passed through a spindle nut (50) fixed in a movable piston tube (36) attached to the upper carriage (18). A second motor (58) mounted on the carriage has a lower speed and higher torque than the first motor. The spindle nut is fixed in the end of the piston tube remote from the upper carriage and a stripping device (64) preventing buckling is attached to the corresponding end at a distance from the spindle nut.

Es wird eine Vorschubeinrichtung (32) für den Oberschlitten (18) einer Presse, insbesondere einer Tonwaren-Presse, beschrieben. Die Vorschubeinrichtung (32) weist einen ersten Antriebsmotor (48) hoher Drehzahl und niedrigen Drehmomentes auf, der mit einer Vorschubspindel (44) verbunden ist. Die Vorschubspindel (44) ist in einem Mantelrohr (34) gelagert und durch eine Spindelmutter (50) durchgeschraubt, die in einem Kolbenrohr (36) fixiert ist. Das Kolbenrohr (36) ist relativ zum Mantelrohr (34) axial verstellbeweglich vorgesehen. Das Kolbenrohr (36) ist am Oberschlitten (18) drehbar gelagert angebracht und mit einem zweiten Antriebsmotor (58) niedriger Drehzahl und hohen Drehmomentes verbunden. <IMAGE>
