Abstract (en)
The brick (1) has four outer walls (2,3) and longitudinal (6) and transverse (6) bars. Holes (10,11) are formed in the transverse walls or the transverse bars. The holes are shorter than the corresponding brick length and are not wider than the spacing between adjacent longitudinal walls or bars. Preferably, the holes are slits and are only formed in part of the transverse walls or bars. An Independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing the brick.

Der Lochziegel (1) hat vier Außenwände, nämlich zwei Längswände (2, 3) und zwei Querwände (4, 5), sowie Längsstege (6) und Querstege (7), so dass sich ein Lochmuster ergibt. Zur Erhöhung der Wärmeisolation sind in den Querwänden (4, 5) oder in den Querstegen (7) Löcher (9, 10, 11), insbesondere Schlitze, vorgesehen. Diese sind kürzer als die entsprechende Dimension des Ziegels (1) und höchstens so breit wie der Abstand benachbarter Längswände (2, 3) oder Längsstege (6). Vorzugsweise ist nur ein Teil der Querwände (4, 5) und Querstege (7) mit Löchern (9, 10, 11) versehen, sodass der Rest die volle Tragfähigkeit hat. <IMAGE>
