The device has two spaced guide rails (6) for at least one shade element (7) and a crash prevention device with a lock organ (13), which can be pivoted between locked and raised positions if a pull device fails. In the locked position, the shade element is clamped in at least one guide rail. A bolt (18) is held in a rest position against a positioning force by the pull device and the weight of the shade element, but moves into the locked position when the pull device fails under the positioning force and with the lock organ. The lock organ is supported at a locking block of the shade element. The bolt is held by a carrier of the pull device in a biased position.

Die Beschattungsvorrichtung weist zwei im Abstand zueinander angeordnete Führungsschienen (6) auf, an denen wenigstens ein Beschattungselement (7) verfahrbar gelagert ist. Es ist eine Absturzsicherung (8) vorgesehen, die ein Sperrorgan (13) aufweist, das beim Versagen eines Aufzugsorgans (3) in eine Sperrstellung verschwenkt wird und in dieser Sperrstellung das Beschattungselement (7) in wenigstens einer Führungsschiene (6) verklemmt. Ein Stellelement (18) wird das Stellelement (18) durch die Stellkraft und mit diesem das Sperrorgan (13) in die Sperrstellung bewegt. Das Sperrorgan (13) ist an einem Verriegelungsblock (12) des Beschattungselementes (7) gelagert. Das Stellelement (18) wird mittels eines Mittnehmers (4) des Aufzugsorgans (3) in einer gespannten Position gehalten.
