[origin: EP1120625A2] The entry and exit ramp for the rear of an armoured vehicle acts as protection for the crew when it is closed. It is made up of an outer profiled plate (1) mounted on a hinge (16) at its base and an inner plate (3) mounted on a second hinge (18) at the top of the profile. These can be arranged in various configurations between fully open and fully closed.
