The socket contains an insulating housing (10), apertures (11), for plug pins in the housing top, a two-arm protective strip rotatably mounted under the apertures and a spring rotating the arms of the protective strip under the apertures. A central axial lug (12) is formed on a facing surface of the housing top or bottom part. In the region of the axial lug are formed at least one spring holding cage (13) and at least one stop (14) for the protective strip which has central bearing bore for the axial lug. A bracket rests against the spring.

Die erfindungsgemäße Steckdose mit Kindersicherung besteht aus nur vier Teilen: einem Steckdosenoberteil (10), einem Steckdosenunterteil (20), einem zweiflügeligen, drehbar gelagerten Schutzsteg (30) und einer Feder (40), die den Schutzsteg (30) in seine Grundstellung dreht. Schutzsteg (30) und Feder (40) werden durch an das Gehäuseoberteil (10) bzw. das Gehäuseunterteil (20) angeformte Lagerzapfen (12, 22) und Haltekäfige (13) geführt. Nach dem Verrasten von Gehäuseoberteil (10) und Gehäuseunterteil (20) ist die Steckdose mit Kindersicherung fertig. <IMAGE> <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
