Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0021830A1] A trolley (1) suitable for use in an aircraft for serving chilled beverages and other items therefrom comprises a housing (2) and a plurality of drawers (3) slideably carried within the housing (2). Each drawer (3) is provided with a main compartment (2) within which bottles or cans (22) of beverages to be chilled are placed, and from which the bottles or cans (22) are served. A secondary compartment (21) beneath the main compartment (20) is provided for storing a container (25) of frozen water for cooling the beverages in the main compartment (20) of the drawer (3) and the main compartment (20) of a drawer immediately below. Access openings (28) closed by closure flaps (29) provide access to the secondary compartment (21) for facilitating placing and removing containers (25) from the secondary compartments (21).
