Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2784407A1] The insulating backing panel to be applied against a vertical wall (13) comprises a facing (2) in the form of a rigid plaster plate. The plate is integral with a mineral wool insulating layer (7). This layer extends beyond a lower edge of the facing to form a weather strip (12) which extends into the panel lower part when fixed against the wall. Wedges (15) are placed in the panel lower part to support the facing and compress the mineral wool layer.
