[origin: US2001025638A1] A drill bit for producing circular-cylindrical recesses or boreholes is formed of a drilling cylinder (1) having cutting elements (3) at the leading end in the drilling direction. A detachable core sleeve (2) is arranged in the interior of the drilling cylinder (1). The cutting elements (3) extend radially inwardly at least for the wall thickness (a) of the core sleeve (2). The core sleeve (2) serves to receive a core formed of removed masonry and is intended to facilitate removal of the core from the drill bit. The manageability of the drill bit is substantially improved in this way.

Eine Bohrkrone zur Herstellung von kreiszylindrischen Ausnehmungen oder Durchbrüchen ist mit einem Bohrzylinder (1) versehen, der an seinem bohrrichtungsseitigen Ende Schneidelemente (3) aufweist. Im Innenraum des Bohrzylinders (1) ist eine lösbare Kernhülse (2) angeordnet. Die Schneidelemente (3) erstrecken sich radial zumindest über die axiale Projektion der Wandstärke (a) der Kernhülse (2). Die Kernhülse (2) dient der Aufnahme des vom abgebauten Mauerwerk gebildeten Kerns und soll eine Entfernung dieses Kerns aus der Bohrkrone erleichtern. Dadurch wird die Handlichkeit der Bohrkrone wesentlich verbessert. <IMAGE>
