The deployable platform for a yacht which closes a corresponding opening in the hull when raised and form a platform surface when lowered into a horizontal position. Bei Jachten besteht das Bedürfnis, Nutzflächen bereitzustellen, die sich außerhalb des Rumpfes befinden. Dazu werden solche Nutzflächen durch verschwenkbare Plattformen (12) gebildet, die in der geschlossenen Stellung eine korrespondierende Öffnung im Rumpf verschließen. In einer heruntergeklappten Gebrauchsstellung bildet die Oberseite der Plattform (12) einer terrassenartige Nutzfläche. Bekannte Plattformen (12) dieser Art verfügen in der Gebrauchsstellung über einen Spalt zwischen ihrer Oberseite und dem Rumpf. Die Erfindung sieht vor, die Betätigungseinrichtung zum Verschwenken der Plattform (12) so auszubilden, dass in der Gebrauchsstellung die Plattform (12) an den Rumpf herangefahren wird. Dadurch entsteht ein im Wesentlichen spaltfreier Übergang der Oberseite der Plattform (12) zum Rumpf bzw. einer jachtseitigen Anschlussstruktur, die die Oberseite der Plattform (12) ins Innere des Rumpfs fortführt. <IMAGE>
