Abstract (en)
The plate has a plate surface for accommodating a material bed and a number of air inlets (7,10,11) opening in the surface and that expand upwards from a narrow point at a distance below the plate surface. The edge of the openings are rounded with a radius not less than half the distance between the narrow point and the plate surface.

Rostplatte, insbesondere für Brenngutkühler, mit einer zur Aufnahme eines Gutbetts bestimmten Plattenoberfläche und einer Vielzahl in dieser Oberfläche mündender Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen (7, 10, 11). Diese erweitern sich von einer im Abstand unterhalb der Plattenoberfläche liegenden Engstelle ausgehend nach oben hin. Die Öffnungskanten sind abgerundet. Zweckmäßigerweise wird ihre dem Gut ausgesetzte Oberfläche ganz oder teilweise aus einer Vielzahl von stückigen Körpern, vorzugsweise Kugeln (5) zusammengesetzt, die die Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen (7, 10, 11) zwischen sich bilden. <IMAGE>
