Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a method of automatically verifying and rejecting invalid inputs in an electronic auction system having the form of a computer network. The method comprises the steps of setting a lot having at least one product, providing a user interface for inputting a bid for said lot, verifying if said bid has been submitted erroneously and, if said bid has been submitted erroneously, automatically rejecting in real-time said erroneous bid and all consequential bids of said erroneous bid and displaying a corresponding warning on said user interface and on user interfaces from which said consequential bids were input. <IMAGE>
