Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2803779A1] The reforming press allows reshaping of a U-section profile into an open ended triangular section. It has a punch (4) with a main bar (6) having depending blades (11,12). The blades are attached to a pair of links (15,16) at their ends. An end plate (20) is attached to the die and has cam surfaces to actuate the links as the punch moves downwardly and move the blades apart.
