Abstract (en)
For the production of paper cushion materials, to absorb shocks in packaging, a paper web (2) is distorted by a corrugating station (3) and picked up by transport rollers (6,7) at a transport station (5) to be forced into a stuffing channel. In the stuffing channel, the corrugated paper material (4) is forced against a limit stop (10) for compression and crushing. The resulting paper cushion material (9) is taken out of the channel to be cut into convenient portions (13). The corrugated paper (4) is further distorted into zigzags by the transport rollers (5).

Zum Herstellen von Papierpolstern aus einer einlagigen Papierbahn (2) wird die Papierbahn (2) wellenförmig durch eine eine Vorverformung ergebende Wellvorrichtung (3) deformiert, die deformierte Papierbahn (2) von Transportwalzen (5) aufgenommen und in einen Staukanal (8) eingeführt. Im Staukanal (8) wird die Papierbahn (2) gegen einen Anschlag (10) geschoben, gestaut und geknittert, und anschließend das so entstandene Papierpolster aus dem Staukanal (8) entfernt und in gewünschte Polstereinheiten geschnitten. Die Vorverformung erfolgt zweckmäßigerweise so, dass die vorgeformte Papierbahn (2) in eine Zick-Zack-Form durch Transportwalzen (5) deformiert wird. <IMAGE>
