[origin: EP1124012A2] The system has two sets of control barriers (2,3), each with several barriers (5) joined together via several arrangements, with vertically movable rollers and each connected to a fixed point (8) at one end. The sets of barriers can be pivoted horizontally about the fixed point by at least one drive (9) and reversibly joined together at the other end. The connecting arrangements are biased and clamp the sets of barriers together when joined.
