[origin: US2003226557A1] A cooking area cover panel to be applied separately for a cooking area is made of a hard material and comprises a plurality of individual partial covering panels having an underside and a top side and spacer feet provided with connecting means for selectively mounting on the cooking area cover panel. The spacer feet are mountable to the underside of the cooking area cover panel in a ready-to-use condition, wherein the spacer feet are separate from the cooking area cover panel in a disassembled condition of the cooking area cover panel.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine separat aufzulegende Kochfeldabdeckplatte für ein Kochfeld, wobei die Kochfeldabdeckplatte (2, 3) aus einem harten Material, insbesondere aus Glas besteht und in benutzungsfertigem Zustand mit auf der Unterseite angebrachten Abstandsfüßen (4) versehen ist und wobei die Kochfeldabdeckplatte (2, 3) vorzugsweise mehrere, insbesondere zwei, einzelne, separat aufzulegende Teilabdeckplatten (2; 3) mit Abstands-füßen (4) aufweist. Diese ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Anliefer- oder Kaufzustand der Kochfeldabdeckplatte (2, 3) die Abstandsfüße (4) von der Kochfeldabdeckplatte (2, 3) getrennt vorliegen und daß die Abstandsfüße (4) mit Verbindungsmitteln (8) zum späteren Anbringen an der Kochfeldabdeckplatte (2, 3) versehen sind. <IMAGE>
