Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0025933A1] The invention relates to a hydrocyclone arrangement comprising an inflow (6) of the feed pulp (1), an overflow (11) and an underflow (13), whereby the inflow (6) is fed into a holding chamber (5) by a pump (3). The overflow (11) is led into a collecting chamber (7), and a free outflow is provided for the underflow (13). According to the invention, a plurality of hydrocyclones (8) which preferably have identical dimensions are provided and these are arranged in a spatially close manner such that the overflows (11) of these hydrocyclones (8) open into a common overflow collecting chamber (7), whereby the overflow collecting chamber (7) is configured as a pressure pot and, via an overflow collecting line, interacts with an adjustable control valve (15) and with a control device belonging thereto which is provided for adjusting the volumetric grit, namely the ratio of the volumetric flows of the overflow (11) and underflow (13).
