[origin: DE19941472A1] The invention relates to a method and to a device for calibrating throttle bores, especially in injection valves for internal combustion engines. The throttle bores are subjected to a hydroerosive treatment by means of a suspension and the actual throughput is compared with a defined desired throughput. If the actual throughput and the desired throughput are identical, the hydroerosive treatment is terminated. A counter-pressure that inhibits cavitation of the liquid is built up on the run-off side (13) of the throttle bore (11).
