[origin: DE19940297A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve comprised of a valve body (10), of a control pressure chamber (22), of a control valve (28), which controls the pressure in the control pressure chamber (22), and of an actuating part (14) for a nozzle needle (12). Said actuating part is displaceably mounted in the valve body (10) and is subjected to the action of pressure in the control pressure chamber (22). The aim of the invention is to reduce the pressure forces exerted on the actuating part (14) and the nozzle needle (12). To this end, the invention provides that the control valve (28) controls an inlet (24) leading into the control pressure chamber (22).
