[origin: WO0027165A1] The invention relates to a microphone comprising a membrane having a front membrane that is impacted by the sound waves and at least one back membrane area that is acoustically separated at least partially from the front membrane area, in addition to a sound inlet through which the sound waves can reach the back membrane area. According to the invention, in order to improve the heavily frequency-dependent frequency response curve of microphone directivity in said microphone, at least one damping element is included in said microphone and an acoustic inductance is substantially formed by the slot-shaped sound inlet so that at least part of the sound waves to be picked up are directed in a delayed manner to the back membrane area.
