[origin: EP1825907A1] Materials at the bottom of the container enter the homogenizing unit and fall upon a rotor (4) driven by a shaft (30), and are dispersed by two sets of vanes. A pump rotor (6) is driven through a hollow shaft (36), coaxial with the first shaft. Vanes on the rotor force the homogenized material into a circumferential channel (20) from where it is either recirculated to the container or sent to storage. Materials at the bottom of the container enter the homogenizing unit along the vertical centerline to fall upon a rotor (4) driven by a shaft (30). They are then dispersed by two sets of vanes running between two sets of rings that form part of the fixed base (2). A pump rotor (6) is driven through a hollow shaft (36), coaxial with the first shaft. Vanes on the rotor force the homogenized material into a circumferential channel (20) from where it is either recirculated to the container or sent to storage. The shafts (30,36) are driven independently so that the rotors can in the same or in opposite directions.
