[origin: DE10005438A1] The method involves forming an outer toothing with an axial rear position. One or more profiled non-cutting shaping tools are guided in position towards the work piece and to rotate with respect to the work piece. The tool is guided to form a roof-like insertion angle (alpha ), where the gear is rotated about an axis (X) during the shaping and the tool engaging the work piece is guided in at least one radial or axial feed movement. An independent claim is included for a device for implementing the method.

Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Getrieberades (10) mit einer Kupplungsverzahnung mit axialem Hinterschnitt und einer dachförmigen Einlaufgeometrie besteht darin, den Zahnradrohling in Rotationsbewegung zu bringen und profilierte Umformwerkzeuge in Gestalt von außenverzahnten Rollen, Zahnstangen oder innenverzahnten Hohlwalzen abwälzend in Eingriff mit dem Material zu bringen und durch radiale bzw. axiale Zustellbewegung die entsprechende Umformung einzuleiten. <IMAGE>
