[origin: EP1125691A1] The stand has a base plate (1) with support surface (23), and at least one guide column (2) swiveling on a swivel axle. The column can be fixed at different angles by means of at least one screen-plate (7) on the guide column, and by means of a locking element coaxially set parallel with the support surface. The locking element is formed of at least one locking slide piece (12) mounted on the base plate and moved by means of a tensioning device (22).
