[origin: US2001004086A1] Packaging suitable for food products has at least one wall which is formed in a semi-rigid material such as cardboard and has at least one edge defining an opening for inserting articles, in particular foods, and at least one first flap articulated to that edge along a folding line. The packaging can be conformed into a service configuration in which the flap uncovers the opening and a first storage configuration in which the flap closes the opening. The wall includes reversible deformation arrangements for conforming the packaging into a second storage configuration in which the first flap clamps the wall in a substantially sealed manner along the folding line and in the area of the edge.

Cet emballage (E) comprend au moins une paroi (1) formée dans un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton, ladite paroi comportant au moins un bord (11, 13, 15, 17) définissant une ouverture (21) d'introduction d'articles notamment alimentaires ainsi qu'au moins un premier rabat (23, 25, 27, 29) articulé sur ledit bord (11, 13, 15, 17) suivant une ligne de pliage. Cet emballage (E) est conformable en une position de service où ledit rabat (23, 25, 27, 29) dégage cette ouverture (21) et une première configuration de stockage où ledit rabat (23, 25, 27, 29) clôt cette ouverture (21). Cet emballage est remarquable en ce que ladite paroi (1) comprend des moyens de déformation réversible (31, 33) pour conformer ledit emballage (E) en une deuxième configuration de stockage dans laquelle ledit premier rabat pince suivant ladite ligne de pliage ladite paroi (1) de manière sensiblement étanche dans la zone dudit bord. <IMAGE>
